ChatGPT
ChatGPT supports MCP connectors in Developer mode (requires a paid ChatGPT subscription). Your API key is embedded directly in the URL — no OAuth or additional auth setup needed.
MCP connectors in ChatGPT are a beta feature. You need to enable Developer mode in ChatGPT settings before connectors appear.
Setup
1. Get an API key
Contact ben@dialogue-ai.co to request access.
2. Enable Developer mode
In ChatGPT → Settings → Developer mode → toggle on.
3. Add the MCP connector
In a ChatGPT conversation → click the tools icon → Add MCP server:
Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your Dialogue API key. The key is passed as part of the URL — leave authentication set to None.
4. Attach to your conversation
Once added, click the connector to attach it to the current conversation. You can then ask questions like:
“What language do pre-retirees use when discussing pensions?”
“Find the highest-engagement quotes about mortgage stress from first-home buyers.”
“Fetch this page and tell me how the copy compares to how our audience actually talks about this: https://example.com”
